Who can participate in a Forest escape?
Forest escape for adults is organised for groups of 2 to 5 people, aged 14 and up.
Forest escape for kids is also organised for 2 to 5 people. The kids should be between the ages of 8 to 13 and have to be accompanied by at least one adult.

What if there’s more than 5 people or if I’m by myself?
The game is organised for 2 to 5 people. Moving around in the limited space would become difficult, if there were more, and cooperation in the group would also be less successful. If there’s more than five in your group, you can book more than one event! The game is also made in such a way that only one player probably wouldn’t be able to complete all the puzzles in time, and they’d be missing out on the fun social aspect of the game.
I want to participate in a Forest escape for adults. Can I bring a child younger than 14 along with me?
Yes, kids can also participate and enjoy escape games organised for adults. Perhaps your group will be pleasantly surprised by how child logic solves certain puzzles in unique ways. In the case that there are more kids, we also offer two special versions of Forest escape for kids.
Can I bring a dog or other pet along with me?
Pets are absolutely welcome, but you will have to ensure that they won’t damage or move the props and break the game. It is desired that dogs are on a leash in the forest.
Where is the Forest escape located?
It’s located in a forest in Ljubljana, about 5 to 7 kilometres away from the city centre. We will send you directions to the exact location in an email after your booking is finalized.
How can I get to the location of the game?
You can take the bus, a bike, a car or come on foot. There are a few parking spaces near to where the event will take place.
How far in advance should I book a Forest escape?
At least 24 hours before the event starts, if the date is free on the booking calendar.
How long does a Forest escape last?
Time runs out after one hour, but of course it is possible to solve all the puzzles before that.
When should I arrive at the location of the game?
You should be at the location 10 minutes before the event starts. Don’t be late, so you don’t shorten the time you can play!
Can I cancel or change the booking?
You can cancel or change a booking, but you have to do so 24 hours before the event is scheduled to start.
How do I pay for a Forest escape?
Payment is only possible by booking an event. You can pay with a credit card, with a PayPal account or over invoice.
Can I buy a gift certificate?
Of course. Send an inquiry to our email address contact@gozdne.si or call us at +386 64 172 432. In the event that you buy a gift certificate we will prepare and send you a cute voucher, with which it will be possible to book an event.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
Forest escape for (adults and kids), can only take place if it’s not raining. The exception being Forest escape in the rain, of course. If the forecast predicts bad weather 24 hours before the event starts we will contact you via email or phone and make arrangements to reschedule.
Do I need any special equipment?
We recommend comfortable clothes and shoes, such as are appropriate for walking on flat forest terrain. The woods are home to numerous small critters, so we also recommend bringing some insect repellent with you. It is also a good idea to bring some sort of refreshing drink, if the event is taking place during the summer.
What kind of knowledge do I need, to be able to solve the puzzles?
All you need is a bit of logical thinking and an interest in group work. Kids that will participate in the Forest escape also require to have a rudimentary knowledge of reading writing and calculation.
What if I’m not familiar with the Slovene language?
All the games are also translated into English.
Is Forest escape dangerous?
Absolutely not. You won’t be climbing trees or running from bears. You just have to mind your step so you don’t walk into a tree or a teammate.
Will I be scared?
Fear of fear is unnecessary, if you’re not as shy as a deer or a rabbit.
